Mombasa – Likoni cable car clears the next hurdle

An urban cable car in the Kenyan city of Mombasa has been mooted since 2013. In 2018 the project was approved, and the people responsible were able to secure important sites at the end of 2021. The start of construction is now planned for April 2022.

In Haifa, 20,000 students and commuters can now use a Doppelmayr ropeway to get to the University. It runs from HaMiFratz central railroad and bus terminal to the Technion, Israel’s biggest research center, and on to the University of Haifa campus.
