The government of the state of Puebla, Mexico, has awarded DOPPELMAYR the contract to develop a new cable car network. Spanning four lines and 13.61 kilometers, the project is set to significantly improve urban mobility across the city.

DOPPELMAYR Mexico has been selected as the company responsible for the design, supply, construction, and commissioning of the new Cablebús Línea 5, one of the most strategic mobility projects in Mexico City. It will be the longest urban ropeway line in the world, with 15.2 kilometers in length and twelve stations.

Ujjain: urban cable car to the temple

Ujjain is one of the seven “holy cities” of India. The large city, with a population of 550,000, attracts a multitude of pilgrims thanks to the Mahakaleshwar Temple. Starting in the summer of 2026, a cable car will transport devotees from the railway station to the temple via an intermediate stop at the Triveni Museum. The engineering firms SALZMANN and BERNARD Group are supervising the project.
