DOPPELMAYR Mexico has been selected as the company responsible for the design, supply, construction, and commissioning of the new Cablebús Línea 5, one of the most strategic mobility projects in Mexico City. It will be the longest urban ropeway line in the world, with 15.2 kilometers in length and twelve stations.

Ujjain: urban cable car to the temple

Ujjain is one of the seven “holy cities” of India. The large city, with a population of 550,000, attracts a multitude of pilgrims thanks to the Mahakaleshwar Temple. On 13 December, the urban ropeway Câble C1 welcomed its first passengers. The approximately 4.5-kilometre ropeway line extends Metro Line 8, improving the connection of the southern suburbs of Paris to the Île-de France transport network. The region thus gains a sustainable transport solution that meets all criteria of urban mobility and the requirements of the local transport authority Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM).
