The VDV conference of the Cable Car Working Group in Baden-Baden
From July 4th to 6th, 2023, the technical operations managers of cable car installations from Germany and Luxembourg gathered in Baden-Baden for their annual conference. This year, the Baden-Baden Municipal Utilities invited the VDV meeting of the "Standseil-/Bergbahnen" working group. The highlight of the event was the visit to the upgraded Merkur Mountain Railway.
Does the Ijbaan come to Amsterdam now?
The idea of an urban cable car for Amsterdam is not new and has been driven by a private initiative for several years.
